   My mother has asked for a crafted tea cosy for Christmas and at first I was like, when do I have time to crochet any more?

   And then I was like, maybe this is symbolic of me giving myself time to just not with [gestures at everything]. Maybe it's a good idea to pick up the hooks again.

     Done! Unless I also add a small pompom on top. It's rather big for our teapot, will hopefully fit my mum's larger pot better.
     
     Also makes a good slouch hat if you don't mind a breeze.

     It's so pretty and smooshy and soft. Going to make a great tea cosy!

     Someone had the idea of leaving it squarish as I stitch it together, then adding a tag so it looks like a big colourful teabag :D
