Today it's in the 30's in KC but feels like it's in the 20's due to the wind chill.

Yesterday I got slapped in the face by a leaf, literally, because the wind was so strong.

Those two experiences have made it clear that this being my first year without a car, in winter, is going to make for an unpleasant experience.

The streetcar can't get finished fast enough for me.
