Just a suggestion: a lot of people and media are looking to generate outrage for clicks. I don't know about you, but I have long expended any extra energy. We need to get better at dismissing attention-getting for what it is. Don't spread the crap, ignore it, don't give them the attention they want.

Attention seeking seems to be far more common place now, but at one time if children were doing this, they were told by adults to stop, grow uo or something similar, we now have to see attention seeking as a cry for help for example, where as at times it is just attention seeking and needs to be abrubtly ended.
