   @MovementYVR Utterly mind boggling that ppl blow that much money on cars *per month*. I don't spend that much per year. Not even counting whole household.

     The average monthly cost of a new car in Canada is $1400 including gas, insurance, etc.

     When transit becomes faster, more frequent, more reliable, a few more families are finally able to swap their $1400 car bill for a $140 transit pass.
