@PhilGastwirth i was also thinking this missed the mark. They are accused of abusing search dominance to abuse both sides of the advertising market. Taking away the browser doesn't address this behavior, it's just random punishment.

Yes I also believe Google is a huge corporation that might have over extended its reach. But I don't think the solution is just selling off part of the company, like chrome or Android. A lot of these have the development because of the big corporation funding. Couldn't they implement better regulatory laws or something to fix the actual problem, instead of just forcing them to sell part of the business. Does that force sale ever work?
