Math teacher and artist Marilou Schultz, who is from the Navajo Nation, was commissioned by Intel in 1994 to make "Replica of a Chip," a woven wool piece that re-creates Intel's Pentium chip. @colossal explains how it was made, and what it represents — ideas around gendered labor, visibility and the meaning of progress.
