Sometimes I just don't respond to meeting invites, leaving it tentative on my calendar.

I don't want to push the accept button because it feels like giving my approval for the meeting. If I don't like the meeting I don't want to approve of it, but I'll still reluctantly attend if it's important.

It's all about sending that message of disapproval passively.
