   This week's #TuneTuesday conjures up memories of a lot of great songs for me. The theme is #YouCantTouchThis, that is songs that are always best in their original form, despite numerous covers. My choice is 'House of the Rising Sun' by The Animals. It always blows me away how great this song is and the heights they reach in the song aren't often duplicated successfully. 😎

     @jacklaridian Brilliant as it is, I'm gonna be *that* emeffing pedant, and say that House of the Rising Sun predates Burdon & Co's excellent rendition by several decades. (Dylan's version alone predates the Animals' by two years.)
