   I already completely onboard with the speaker; they start from the position I start from when designing:

   Mistakes and failures will always exist, in fact its unlikely you won't make a mistake in predicting all the possible fail conditions. And this is one reason testing, a critical part of development, can be over-rated in its ability to prevent failures
