  Bloomberg News admits that sometimes to end a #war you need «some of the external powers that fed the conflict with money and arms [to switch to] talks to put a permanent end to the fighting». Now imagine if we realised this *before* having hundreds of thousands of civilians dead, millions of people displaced etc.
