   The mistake a lot of rank and file Democrats keep making is thinking that there is a connection, even a correlation, between the party's rhetoric and the party's actions. If you assume they're a racial capitalist party first and foremost, their "weird" neglect and apathy on other issues starts to seem obvious.

     When Harris deflected that she would "follow the law" on trans issues, for example, she was not only refusing to take a moral and principled stand, she was saying outright that she would only support us to the extent (white) voters were willing to tolerate.

     Trump's anti-trans ad splurge was designed, amongst other things, to manufacture consent for abandoning trans people. And in the aftermath of the election, that's exactly what many Democrats are doing.
