   @Sharan This is definitely novel length. And not a short novel, either! (The way plans for the third draft are going, Ghost Engine is heading for 200K words, and this hypothetical follow-up is looking like 120-180K words.)

     @cstross I had a story do that to me on Friday. Unfortunately I was still working and the best I could do was write up the idea in One Note and then not get around to writing all weekend. :(
