   As Open Technology Fund money for Eclips.is by Greenhost has dried up, it looks like I’m going to have the fun task of migrating sites away and/or closing some of our sites to avoid an additional ~€200/month hosting bill come January.

   Some are sites that I was keeping for archival purposes, like https://better.fyi and https://ind.ie. Others are activism sites like https://clean-up-the-web.org…

     I have to say, I do so enjoy having to count pennies while trying to work on tech for good while fucking billionaires have money to burn to fuck things up.

     @aral I hate having to figure these things out when the cash runs out. Unsolicited advise, but if they're archived could you flat site them and make github pages or some other free-hosted thing that the domain gets pointed at?
