   I won't be surprised if there are no new tariffs during the next administration personally.

   He'll probably run into a few issues and then move onto some new project towards trying to dominate the news cycles I suspect.

     @GreenFire@mstdn.social We're all in for a lot of unpleasant surprises. At least this election has finally broken Twitter's stranglehold on the media elite.
     
     Of course, they immediately ran to another corporate social media outfit. Someone they could sue, I guess, with deep pockets, unlike the distributed open social web.
     
     I prefer it here. Bluesky is OK so far, but then there's no ads yet, either. Threads is redundant. I'm already here.

     Good way of putting it. I don't know and I'm not trying to be a Trump-whisperer, but I'm not so sure that a populist like him will follow through with the tariffs after/if he accepts that they're going to be unpopular.

     I don't know though. His true goals may be more nefarious than I'm willing to acknowledge perhaps.
