   sometimes I want a filter that merely removes a topic from my home timeline and moves it into a timeline of its own that I can interact with at a different pace than my home timeline. a subject I want to contain and address after reflection, maybe, or when my blood pressure is low enough, or what have you. maybe I want to be able to make that topic only refresh in clients on request rather than by push.

     every time I toot something like this another grain of sand falls onto the balance plate of the scale labeled "sundog builds a fedi client".

     @djsundog Uh, apologies if this is unsolicited advice. But I wonder if Phanpy maybe has at least some of the stuff you want?

     I’ve been using it for almost two years now (I think), and it’s light years better (for me) than the Mastodon UI.

     and while I'm at it, I want a column that's just the boosts the accounts I follow are boosting, and I don't want boosts to ever show up anywhere else in my interface. and a miniature mech pony.
