   Yay! After some back and forth, I was FINALLY able to book a #whitewater #kayaking course for next year.

   I'm SO looking forward to this. 🤗

     As a side note, I continue to insist on referring to scheduling coordination with my wife and kids as "family planning", no matter how much it irritates people.

     @adam_straughan It's a wonderful sport. I only started in my late 30s, and I'll never get to do the hardest runs. But that doesn't matter. It's so great to be out in nature, and to have this incredibly direct experience of the rivers.

     Also, the people tend to be pretty cool :-)

     @slothrop White Water kayaking the most fun I have ever had. I am still very new to the sport and I'm no spring chicken. One of our club members had his 70th birthday party at the local artificial centre (Lee Valley, UK)
     Just back from a weekend in South Wales. It was low water but really great fun
