   Amazing to me the election is over and yet all of these ads during this football game are still pretty fascist; military ads, stuff about "true patriots," and a million new drama series about either cops or very macho firefighters/lifeguards.

   We are the Romans. And that is not a compliment.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites it also kind of feels in general like everyone is in a big rush to embrace fascism as the new normal and declare the right the winners of the culture war because Trump got like 1 out of 5 people to vote for him with a 51% disapproval rating

     @Hoggrim Sure, I mean I wasn't really saying it represented a pre-capitulation to Trump, so much as that the American media and entertainment complex is pretty reactionary and gross.
