     Linux is objectively better and faster at so many basic things but you can't use it with your girldick in one hand while you use a mouse in your other to toggle your onlyfans cam stream so it's not "user friendly"

     @sun my most favorite persistent feature of the Darwin kernel 🍎 is if you fill up your root drive and it attempts to allocate more SWAP, it forces every disk into read only mode until you reboot.

     @mischievoustomato @feld @sun no its because devs who want to write cross platform apps won't write QT because they only know Javascript so that's what we wind up with. I can bitch about JS all day long but the people who write it actually get some shit done so I respect that.

     @sun @feld @mischievoustomato yeah that's what I'm saying. Is writing it in QT going to be a more polished result, with better performance? Absolutely. But you can pay some guy who went to code camp to write it in React and ship the product in 3 months, so I totally get it.

     also python has costum tk which makes it look super nice rounded corners modern etc, but idk if thats portable to other languages u_u
