David August (davidaugust@mastodon.online)'s status on Sunday, 17-Nov-2024 00:25:17 JST David August @evan @socprof we’re not gloating, we’re pointing out they got what they sought. They got exactly what they asked for.
People who made this happen, who are responsible, I do not gloat over, and I would condemn them if they hadn’t already condemned themselves and all of us.
I am sad for everyone they hurt, including them.
Evan, with all due respect: they hurt people, including themselves. And if you can’t admit that, you’re not the clear thinking, ethical person I have come to know.
