   it's always a weird feeling when you finally finish a bugfix you've been working on for weeks and the end result is two single-line changes that, on the face of it, seem trivial and make immediate sense in context of the error
   
   it's hard not to feel like the fix doesn't justify the time spent, even if i know otherwise
