     Not minimizing the dangers of Gabbard's "flirtation" with US organizations that are sympathetic to Hindu nationalists, I'd hardly say Tulsi herself is a *Hindu nationalst*. Like the linked article says ("her support for authoritarians abroad, including Modi, Sisi, and Syria’s Bashar al-Assad"), she has consciously chosen to side with authoritarians independent of religion. Fund raising is her true motivation, and she has offended most traditional US funding types.
