     I see my follower count has hit that level at which it is a Very Bad Idea to write a sentence ending in a question mark, EVEN IF IT'S A RHETORICAL QUESTION AND NO ANSWER IS CALLED FOR. Harrumph.

     * folk reading a question mark when there wasn’t one there in the first place
     * folk read an entirely imaginary sentence rather than the one you wrote
