   I'm up in Cambridge (it's up from where I started, might be in a different direction for you), doing my other job - Gadabout heritage scientist.
   Trying optical coherence tomography to look beneath some additions in a manuscript.
   Some more of similar today, then all the kit goes back in a car, and is back to looking at teeth and bones. #science

     @Remittancegirl the manuscript in the image has something very like tippex / correction fluid applied and written over. Only the book and the writing predate tippex by about 600 years.
     It's proving fascinating so far. Lots of censorship in old manuscripts and areas of damage we're investigating.
