   @Tubsta @oxyhyxo @rubenerd MariaDB got sold to new vultures and Monty left, so it's probably a rudderless ship now. Oracle probably is your better bet in the near term IMO

     @oxyhyxo @rubenerd It would have to be something super duper important for me to cycle back to MySQL because MariaDB didn't work. I honestly thought projects were tracking MariaDB now and treating MySQL as legacy.

     @rubenerd fair. I’ve never used MariaDB in anger (everything I’ve managed has been legacy MySQL which I’d flip to Postgres if at all possible)
