   I am deep down this rabbithole... I swear to god the test suite is gaslighting me...
   
   There is NO WAY that a change in the salt generator makes the test for pinning and unpinning a thread fail.

     @emu :neocat_woozy: if reverting the change doesn't fix the tests, then obviously something along the line is relying on a hash that is no longer lining up with something in storage?
     
     since you say misskey i assume this isn't c memory bug hell

     @emu oh yeah I lost my account on there and the dev just kept telling me open a ticket or something. they sent a minion somewhen to just tell me to reset the password. i was never able to login with that account again :neocat_woozy:

     @icedquinn The test suite was broken :P, it randomly fails even if you change the README. Btw, it's about nimforum lol, It might be a memory bug somewhere given that nimforum is ancient as hell. (Hardlocks dependencies, uses refc as the memory management strategy)
