Mastodon is not a healthy software project.

A couple of thoughts:

- Eugen is clearly contributing at a decreased rate
- There are between 2-5 main contributors for most of the last few years

Recent posts about how contributions are welcomed and who gets to add ideas and thoughts would seem to have merit here.

I don't believe that there would be so little energy in the fediverse or that this would be about competing visions.
