   How do you feel about the idea of increasing minimum wage? But by how much?

   1 dollar? 5?

   How about a function

   Minimum wage being fixed is what software engineers call "hard-coding"

   "Hard-coded data typically requires editing the source code and recompiling" vs runtime calculation

   Number beyond inflation keep changing, so why would you doom yourself to requiring new legislation every time it needs to be updated?

   Its not new, just appears politicians and lawyers are bad at writing law

     @MattMerk I think you found the solution to congress not always seemingly making time to increase their own wages, because I think they are that spiteful, they will just do more trading on the floor

     @ekis And we just know they would! I can already hear them. “We haven’t increased our pay, and we’ve tightened our belts. We aren’t asking for more pay, and so shouldn’t you!”
