     Why is this tagged with the #tankies hashtag? While I do believe that Marxist-Leninists and other leftists should have voted for Harris out of strategy, even if they all voted for her, that wouldn't have been enough to get her elected. It isn't "tankies" that you should be primarily blaming. It's 1. The Democratic Party themselves for running on a horrible platform, and 2. The millions of Democratic voters who refused to vote for Harris to prevent Trump from being elected.

     Yes, "tankie" is a derogatory term, specifically against Marxist-Leninists. If you weren't referring to Marxist-Leninists, then it doesn't make much sense to use the term. Why do I call myself a Marxist-Leninist (I assume that's what you were asking)? Because that's what I am. I believe in the political theories of Marx, Engels, and Lenin (and Stalin), making me a Marxist-Leninist.
