   I have seen people on Mastodon promoting Threads. And on Threads I have seen people promoting Bluesky. So now I have created an account on Bluesky where I plan to go all in on promoting Mastodon.

     @Remittancegirl democracies are vulnerable to propaganda. Commercial platforms use algorithms that make them more prone to serving propaganda. The more people we get to join Mastodon, the more resilient we become.

     It is a complex topic, but it is what I am working on for my next video, so stay tuned. 🙂

     But the really good thing about Mastodon is that it doesn't need to attract more users to ensure its existence. And that is probably why it's quite comfortable to be here.

     What is even the upside to getting more people to come to Mastodon?

     Why is growth good?
