   The nice thing about latex mattresses is you can mix and match the layers to adjust the firmness. But they are heavy.

     I'm buying a bed. Should I mix two firm and medium softness latex mattress toppers, turning them into a mattress, or buy a futon with a tatami mat? The latter is more expensive.
