Mark does a good comparison of the high-water mark of the Confederate army in US Civil War vs Russia in Ukraine right now.
There are huge similarities between the one-product export-driven #economies of the slavery-powered South & Oil-fueled #russia
Just like there was a high-water mark for the Confederacy in 1863, there is one now in 2024 for Russia in #ukraine
The South lost because it had a fragile economy, not because of battle skills. Just like Russia will.
