   I’ve spent a lifetime fighting for underdogs, often against the odds. I wouldn’t change a minute of it. We can’t win every battle, but we’ll continue the fight. We banned evictions, paid back rents, taxed the mega-rich for social housing, barred SFPD’s use of killer robots, pioneered the use of hotels for homeless people, passed groundbreaking rights for renters, saved public transit lines, passed five major ballot measures and over a hundred pieces of legislation.

     We received the most first-place votes of any candidate, and I’m proud of my record, especially on tenants rights and affordable housing. I will continue that work to make housing in our city a human right for all. We will continue fighting for every working person, struggling neighbor, and everyone relegated to the sidelines in our city, whether we do that work from inside or outside City Hall. 3/4

     This city has been a beacon of hope for people, the bastion for progressive change, and we will continue to carry that torch.

     Thank you for twice electing me as your supervisor. It has been an honor. Thank you to my staff, our volunteers, and the movement that has made this work possible. I will continue fighting alongside you against disinformation and for economic equality and racial justice. We have big plans coming which we will announce soon. 4/4

     I’m proud to stand up to the disinformation fueled by some of the wealthiest in our country, and I will continue to push back against the right-wing pressure groups that backed my opponents and spent seemingly unlimited funds in our district and throughout the city. 2/4
