     @kcarruthers The GOP guts the fairness doctrine then wages a successful decades long propaganda campaign with the help of folks such as Murdoch and Limbaugh, and you blame the victims.

     @ZeroGravitas @kcarruthers Reminds me of a pal who said his father's favorite saying was something like "Hypocrisy is the worst possible sin." I retorted that I'm sure the victims in Dachau only cared that their murderers were sincere.

     No, there is no equating active pursuit of evil with failure to oppose evil. There's a nice bit of activist rhetoric along those lines, but it's hooey.

     Trump's dupes are victims. Dangerous, but victims nonetheless.

     Are the Americans really victims? Aren’t we talking about the world’s free-est democracy here?
