   I have so little time for the mastododon twitter shaming. everyone on twitter isn't a fascist. staying there doesn't give musk as much power as *paying your fucking taxes* does in the year of our lord 2024.

   systemic problems are systemic, my dudes. breaking up communities doesn't fix that. shaming people for not breaking up communities doesn't do that.

     @jorgecandeias do what you want, but don't slam other people who want or need communities on other social platforms. the platforms are problematic, basically all of them in different ways (including this one) but people make do and people make the value, and advocating for the destruction of those communities doesn't help anyone.

     @quinn Well, my argument is that I don't want my twitter data to be used to train a nazi IA. And the way things are going, this alone may prove your "staying there doesn't give musk as much power" argument wrong. Hallucinations and all.

     The way I see it, it isn't me who's breaking the community. It's space karen.

     @quinn I'm not slaming anyone. You may check - you won't find any slaming.

     I'm just telling why I do what I do. I was there. I no longer am. Twitter went further than I'm willing to tolerate. So I left. Inactivated everything and I'm telling people why.

     It's a "me" thing. Not a "shame on you for not doing the same" thing.

     @quinn You may eventually find some slaming from me, aimed at a very specific group of people: politicians.

     Not for being there. But for not being here, at least in addition to being there. That's who I think is really slammable in all this.

     @xdydx @jorgecandeias there's people there that have no interface with nazi twitter. it's just a platform. i daresay it's the majority of people. hell, more people are their for BTS than politics.
