My 14yo son thanked me last night for paying attention to what he watches on YouTube and talking to him about what gets recommended to him and how they are not the kind of videos that are neutral to watch. He was glad I was there (this was over the past several years) to help him understand them and stay away from them.

Don’t mind me, I’m just going to sob into a pillow.
