     @solidsanek there are some breeds that are super friendly all the time but in my experience regular cats just get super cuddly when they are like 6 years old or older

     @lain Mine was nowhere near this cuddly a year ago, and she's 4 now. Last year, she'd always maintain some distance while staying near me, as if she wanted that proximity but wasn't too comfortable with it, but now that I also grab her, play with her and more, she's also a lot more assertive and requires being pet a lot more. It's quite the contrast in just a year, but also one that makes me consider getting a second cat since I'm not always at home all day
