   I am wondering about Bluesky , Mastodon and Threads. After Mastodon I am now also trying Bluesky which "feels" nice , also the atmosphere is positive. But on a technical level I think Bluesky may be a dead end. When threads gets serious with federating/connecting to the Fediverse, together with Mastodon, Fediverse/activitypub will have more mass. Bluesky has chosen a different protocol sadly.
   Any thoughts or opinions?

     One caveat: this is now over a year old, and some things have changed. I don't believe they have changed substantially enough for this blogpost to not remain relevant, but flagging that anyway.
