     @lisagetspolitik Are you sure? Have you considered maybe democracy can't exist with billionaires?

     Are you referring to right near the end of the election where Jeff Bezos personally and very publicly bought a favor from Trump?

     This specifically is the thing that is beautiful about a billionaire owning a newspaper. Everyone unsubscribed, costing the newspaper a lot of money.

     Large subscription losses may seem like punishment until you realize that it put a dollar value on the future favor

     Their wealth is not tied to the well-being of a single company, or even a collection of companies, their wealth is so diversified that you can not ever effectively boycott them
