   Was musing somewhere on here the other day — we could take the idea of “personal data servers” from Bluesky and make switching your actual instance around as easy as migrating accounts. But the protocol would need to be designed for that.

   ActivityPub is great, but I think some things need to be added or changed.

   Adding pub/priv keys for signing messages is another thing to learn from Bluesky, maybe.

     The #Hubzilla way of channel clones has been around, there is also #SecureScuttlebutt which did asynchronous updation.
