   @renata_fernandes é pq o cachorro não era um amigo dela, ele fazia um trabalho (de cuidar da casa quando ela não estava). a maioria dos pets começou como um trabalho. (os gatos faziam controle de pragas, os cachorros faziam guarda, pastoreio, puxavam trenós, etc)

     I remember my grandma used to keep her dog chained up and he could only roam free when she left the house. I didn't question it because I had no pets when I was a child, so that didn't come to mind. Now, as an adult, I question it but can't ask her why because she's been gone for a while. She wasn't a bad person but she was definitely strict about many things. That's probably one of them
