   I finally unmuted the word “Twitter,” since there’s a lot important discussion about it right now, and I see that a lot of people who recently made accounts are mainly reposting stuff from Twitter. It’s time to let go, folks. The Fediverse is not Musk-free Twitter.

     A-a-and I had to turn off notifications from one of my favorite people because it turns out their account was a firehose of Twitter reposts that I hadn’t been seeing while I had the word blocked.

     @undauntedgirl A part of me wants to stage an intervention (lol), but obviously they’re not ready to let go of the birdsite, so maybe I will do as you suggest. (Before I had the word muted in any form. It hadn’t occurred to me that I could do it the way you describe.)

     @Rachel_Thorn I added a filter for '@twitter.com' and it's blocked all the reposts from there for the one account I follow who does that and it let's their original toots show up without issue.
