     @moonsea but in an optimistic sense, I want to say that we humans restructure ourselves over and over again every century or so. Empires are lies, none happened in a continuous line. We always collapse and rebuild and it’s just that sometimes we keep the name we had before, and that’s one thing that makes it seem more continuous than it actually is. The other thing is that people and civilization and culture all survive these changes
