   How I use YouTube videos to learn anything about UE :

   1. Skip to 2 minutes, intro is always fluff
   2. Watch about 30 seconds on double speed to see if it looks worth it
   3. Scrub around the video looking for the thing that looks relevant to the problem I have, or something I don’t recognise
   4. Watch another 30 seconds to extract that one thing I was missing
   5. Close the video not having watched about 90% of it

   Better than watching the whole video but still worse than a blog post

     @sinbad WAY worse than a blog post (tho sometimes illustrations are essential). Wish the auto transcription weren't so crap.

     @sinbad Glad to know I'm not the only one. It's especially bad with the videos from Epic Games, because their videos are usually >40 minutes long, so there's really a lot of material to skim through.
