     The youngest is soon turning 8, she is well aware how movies are made (but she had her pillow to hide sometimes :P )

     Alot of tears, when Gandalf fell and when Boromir died - but that what the movies are supposed to do

     Looking forward to the day I'm doing the same with my daughters - they're 7 (twins), I think they're not quite there yet.

     It went very well, my oldest (almost 12) said that it was the best movie he has even seen, and also the first one he had cried to.

     The younger daughter loves it aswell.
     Alot of emotions, but that what the movies are made to do :)

     @selea How did it go? We're reaching Harry Potter sort of age territory and feel like there should be a strategy for the pretty scary / violent bits..
