     @ciel@kokoro.garden trump says crazy shit but the policies are never that crazy, the actual policy might be 10-20% tariffs. i don't know if that will achieve its goal but the current economic environment needs to change, whether that's tariffs or just a regular market correction once any sort of shock comes in i have no idea, i think a lot of people and businesses need to not be overleveraged what that time happens. a lot of the issues with vc funding is that it basically forces the business to be overleveraged and therefore the vc can have a lot of sway on how you run your business in order to get their money back as little as possible and get back as much extra as possible before it explodes into a giant fireball

     @shibao idk anything about the economy. is it good if tariffs really will be an extinction event for small or personal businesses relying on cheap foreign produced goods to operate, like ppl are saying?

     *overleveraged when that time hapens
     *get their money back as fast as possible
