Elected Republicans almost to a man care far more about being like by their Democratic colleagues than governing effectively.

     @wgiwf @udongle @cowanon @Witch_Hunter_Siegfired Which Trump already struggles with. At the same time, everyone recognizes that SOMEONE has to fight DC or nothing will get better ever.
     Trump ran a very unoptical campaign in 2016. He called for building a wall, he said grab them by the pussy, etc. He won. In 2024 he had an insurrection at the Capital which resulted in DEATHS hanging over his head and was calling for mass deportations, AND HE WON THE LATIN MALE VOTE! The electorate aren't children. People aren't afraid of the popular backlash, they're afraid of jewish power, but same as DC, you have to fight it or nothing will get better ever. So NOT talking about it isn't an option.

     @udongle @cowanon @Witch_Hunter_Siegfired I guess my main point is that outspoken concern for the white class working specifically isn't something even probably a majority of the country would take real issue with if stated with cleverness but since the ones who would be needed to make these statements have no inclination to stop following the cultural/media narrative of the mainstream media such a thing is dead on arrival.
