     @kaffando LibreOffice I believe is the fork most people use

     I'm a crazy person so I just use a word library and do it programmatically; not suggesting that is the correct solution for your necessarily, but if you do program it may be.

     Thank you, I'm just looking at LibreOffice right now after someone else kindly sent me a link. It's so frustrating and just another thing that we really shouldn't need to be spending time on. Thank you 😀
