@JillsJoy agreed, these things can help. I also work for a large company with 20,000 employees throughout the world, but while I'm always naturally sceptical about these things, they are serious about inclusion and don't just talk about it. Which is nice.

My company has literally thousands of employees in North America.
Yesterday, in a regular weekly communication newsletter to all of us in North America, it lists upcoming dates. Right between Veterans Day, US Thanksgiving, and a fundraising sale is "Transgender Day of Remembrance: November 20".
Literally, thousands of employees received this email. Earlier this year, our HR created a training and support package for trans employees and their managers.
A bright spot.
