You know, funny thing about that story. The word 'fiddled' was used differently back then to mean doing nothing. So scholars believe the idea that Nero had an actual fiddle is just a misunderstanding of the story. He actually just did nothing as Rome burned, which is just as bad but not nearly as interesting. 🤓
