Man, I don't want to talk about VOTING when both sides of the equation are FOR murder, FOR colonialism, FOR extraction, helped build the police state these nazis are gonna use to kill folks like me.
We didn't get here because of a vote, we got here because broadly speaking everyone, and i mean EVERYONE, who isn't likely to get merc'd by fascists is absolutely fine with empowering fascists.
And no, white liberals aren't in danger for their beliefs, because they can just fucking join the nazis.

This is PRECISELY my fucking point when I say "you have never once fought fascists so why would I expect you to start now."
Sitting around and waiting to vote is not fighting fascists. This didn't happen overnight. So while I'm certainly not HAPPY that Downmarket Mussolini is about to be president now, nothing I'm fucking screaming about has all that much to do with voting.

Ending the genocide, slavery, corporate power, carceral state, police violence, appeasement of fascists, marginalization and dehumanization of pretty much everyone who isn't a bougie cracker, eugenics, white supremacy and so forth wasn't on the ballot so talking to you folks about voting, at this late a date, with the machinery, ideology, and supremacy of fascism already in place and the jackboot inches from my neck, is definitely not a 1st order problem right now.

Like, everyone wants to fucking PRETEND that "stopping fascism" was on the ballot and it's absolute bullshit. You'll get no argument from me against the that Trump was WORSE but I fucking REFUSE to pretend that voting for Imperialism, Colonialism, genocide, expanding the carceral state, funding the police, hunting down migrants and bipartisan cooperation with nazis is "fiighting fascism." These mutherfuckers couldn't even give up a fucking genocide to "stop fascism." They couldn't give up migrant prisons to "stop fascism." They couldn't give up supporting police violence to "stop fascism." They couldn't give up sharing political power with nazis, to stop fascism. They couldn't give up hanging out with the Cheneys to "stop fascism."
So I don't want to hear how pissed off you are at fourteen million people but not the leaders that lead us to ruin. Spare me.

As you said, it's behind us. It already happened, and what's done is done. I still disagree, because stopping Trump would have put us in a much better position, but there's no point in infighting if that's what it would take to relitigate this. We are on the same side, regardless of the election or it's result, and we need to remember that.
Right now, I want the focus to be on how we can work together, moving forward.
